Privacy Policy

The short version

Files you open in the online editors stay on your device. We do not require an account. We count visits with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies.

Files you edit

The online editors on photocrafteditor.com (PhotoCraft, FilmCraft, VectorCraft, LightCraft, DesignCraft, EffectCraft and PdfCraft) run entirely in your browser through WebAssembly. Images, video, PDFs and other files you open are read and processed on your device and are never uploaded to us. The editors keep their preferences, and some keep your work (a LightCraft library, a PdfCraft signature), in your browser's own storage for this site; the Cookie Policy lists what is kept there.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand which pages are useful. It records page views, the referring site, browser, device type and country. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites and does not store your IP address.

Cloudflare Web Analytics, from our host, also measures visits and how fast pages load. It does not use cookies or track you across other websites either.

Advertising

The site shows no ads today. If we add ads from third-party networks to keep the site free, those networks would use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Emails

If you email us, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to reply.

Hosting and logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
